Gold Discovery Day
On January 24, 1848, a single golden flake ignited the California Gold Rush, sparking the world’s largest human migration. Today, you can relive that history at Coloma Resort. Located next to Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park, we offer year-round access to historic sites, self-guided tours, and gold panning. Visit our Camp Store for supplies and practice your technique at our resort troughs or through seasonal lessons.
Tubing On The American River
Tubing the American River is a guest favorite for cooling off from May through September. This family-friendly float starts just below Troublemaker Rapid and drifts gently to Henningsen Park. Stop by our General Store for tubes and required life jackets to start your summer adventure!
